Calcium Hydroxide (Hydrated Lime)

The product is not only widely used in citric acid, leather, paints, desulphurization, smelting, bleach refined, and propylene oxide. Calcium hydroxide, commonly known as hydrated lime or slaked lime, is a chemical compound with the chemical formula Ca(OH)2. It is a white, powdery substance that is produced by adding water to calcium oxide (quicklime). This process is called slaking, and it involves a chemical reaction in which calcium oxide reacts with water to form calcium hydroxide. The reaction is highly exothermic, releasing a significant amount of heat.

Calcium Hydroxide: is a kind of expansive chemical product, which is very popular in the international quarrying and demolishing market.

Non-explosive demolition / cracking agent is a soundless and safe demolition agent which is quite different from ordinary demolition agents such as explosives and dangerous materials. It does not cause any fly rock, noise, ground vibration, gas, dust or any other environmental pollution when used properly.

As requirements for demolishing rock and reinforced concrete in construction increase in tight quarters, the use of explosives and explosive agents is becoming more restricted as far as safety and environmental pollution problems are concerned. Non-explosive demolition / cracking agent is the solution.

Non-explosive demolition / cracking agent is a powder with amazing 18,000 PSI expansive strength when mixed with common water. Poured into holes, Non-explosive demolition / cracking agent breaks reinforced concrete & rock safely and quietly, while providing SILENT cracking.

Since Non-explosive demolition / cracking agent provides controlled demolition according to drilling patterns, it is very easy to break reinforced concrete and all kinds of stone into desired sizes and shapes, without noise, vibration or dust.

Reinforced Concrete Demolition & Cutting
In demolition, concrete cutting & excavating industry, Non-explosive demolition / cracking agent helps you to break reinforced concrete and rock into chunks, so you may easily cut off rebar, haul it away with a crane or truck without damage remaining part.

Rock Breaking & Excavation
In mining and quarrying industry, Non-explosive demolition / cracking agent helps to achieve perfect slabs and blocks from limestone, onyx, marble, granite or any other type of stone you are working with. Compares to blasting, Non-explosive demolition / cracking agent avoids waste of valuable stone, high insurance, costly storage and labor.

Stone Quarrying & Dimension
Non-explosive demolition / cracking agent can also be applied along with traditional methods like primer cord, hydraulic breaker, diamond blade saw and jackhammer to help cut cost, work time and increase safety, Plus its silent operation, Non-explosive demolition / cracking agent is perfect for residential, school, hospital and airport area.

When it is mixed with clean and cold water to be mortar and poured into pre-drilling holes of rock and concrete, it swells and exerts expansive capabilities on the hole-wall at a unit value of more than 50Mpa (500kg/cm2 .) which is strong enough to cut and crack reinforced concrete, marble and granite after a while.

Comparing with traditional explosives, it has the following advantages:

  • Non-explosive and very safe

  • very economical and cost-effective;

  • The shape is controllable

Applications:

  • Manufacturing of Bleaching Powder

  • Process Water Demineralization

  • Waste Water Neutralization

  • Fluxing or Clarifying

  • Stabilization of hazardous waste

  • Fuel gas De-sulphurisation

  • Calcium Hypochlorite Bleaching of Paper pulp

Applications

  • Granite, marble, sandstone, limestone, quartzite quarrying and cutting Precious stone quarrying.

  • Rocks pre-splitting, fracture, cutting, demolishing and removal.

  • Concrete structures demolition and rocks cracking when explosion not allowed.

  • Fracture and demolition of the concrete buildings and structures.

  • Rocks cutting for road construction.
